even the air is different

first day back.
dusted, vacuumed, cleaned my room compulsively.
no dirty clothes in the hamper and fresh bedsheets on my bed.
fixed my dresser with hot glue gun so clothes don't fall through the back. put away clothes i don't wear. dresser is now neat as heck.
marked my calendar with this week's schedule.
had one of those long hot showers that make your fingers wrinkly.

i feel so clean, simple, and ready.
i can tell this year will be a good one.
i'm willing to try new things.
